Participation Opportunities

Study on Test Mode

The Learning Analytics and Measurement in Behavioral Sciences (LAMBS) Lab at the University of Notre Dame is recruiting undergraduate students to take part in research examining the effects of different types of tests on students’ performance and subjective test-taking experience. The study involves completing a series of self-report questionnaires and a 20-item test with content from an introductory statistics curriculum. Your participation will help researchers better understand how different test formats influence test-taker’s performance and testing experience. You will also be given a low-stakes diagnostic assessment of your proficiency in introductory statistics content knowledge, which you could be useful to inform your study habits.

Study participation can be completed in one computerized session lasting approximately 1-1.5 hours, and participants will be compensated $20 for their time. To participate, you must have completed at least one semester (or equivalent) of college-level introductory statistics. If you are currently enrolled in an undergraduate statistics course, you may also be eligible to participate. If you are interested or have any questions, please email tober@nd.edu
